Leslie almost threw her ice cream at him.
"Platypus? What’s that?" Frank asked. "Code for ‘mutant duck?’"
"No! It’s that thing over there!"
Leslie pointed. Frank looked. Studied the creature for a moment.
"Looks like a mutant duck to me."
"Hush!"
"What?"
"You’re gonna blow our cover," Leslie hissed "Just… Look it up when we get home!"
"With what?" Frank snapped.
"An encyclopedia! What else?"
"We don’t have an encyclopedia."
"We’ll buy one on the way home!"
She grabbed his arm and pulled him to the next exhibit, hoping it was something slightly more mundane than a platypus.
