Summary: "Frank" wants peppermint.
01: Can I have this?
"Gimme one of those," Frank said, gesturing at the peppermints in her hands.
"No."
She jerked her hand back and danced out of his reach when he lunged for them.
"Aw, babe."
"No. Mine. Get your own."
He scowled. The nearest peppermint was three miles away at the Circle A. He made a lunge for her again. This time, she smacked him on the head and scolded him like a disobedient puppy.
"Mine."
"But, baby!"
"No."
He stood up and brushed himself off. She turned away before he could see her playful smile, and he slumped his shoulders and ducked his head. Leslie snuck a glance over her shoulder.
"Do you want one that bad?" she asked.
He put on his best ‘kicked-puppy’ face and gave her a pleading look.
She huffed. "Fine. But don’t expect treats for no tricks every time." She tossed him a peppermint. He caught it out of the air and tore into it.
"Aaaaaand, cut!"
Frank spat the peppermint into his hand. "Thank goodness that’s over. I was beginning to think I’d have to eat that vile thing."
"And I was beginning to think you actually wanted one," Leslie added. "So are we done yet?"
The director rolled his eyes and dismissed them.
