Summary: Chase isn't sure he likes merging.

Being merged was like having sex. Chase liked having sex, but he wasn’t so sure he liked being merged.

Vision was being very persistent, though. He was very, very in love with the idea that they should merge again, connect to the core, and leave satisfied this time.

Chase told him to bugger off and do it to Cassie.

Vision informed him that Cassie would not fit his current biological patterns and she would not like the idea. Besides, what’s a harmless merge between friends?

It wouldn’t be such a bad thing, in his opinion, if the merger didn’t involve his total surrender of control. It wouldn’t be so bad if he had some say in the matter, or maybe left some proof that he was there. Like, if the Vision remembered things he felt, too.

Anyway, green just wasn’t his color.

Vision grabbed his hand and dragged him into his body, surrounding him, filling him, relaxing him, and tensing him, all at the same time. Chase was sure no one could quite do what Vision did.

His eyes rolled back into his head and his brain fired off awesome little bursts of light behind his eyes. He was reasonably sure he’d had some sort of orgasm, but he couldn’t actually prove anything.

The first time had been awkward and stunning. Then cool to no end.

This time was warm and firm and gentle, and Chase was sure Vision had been working on his delivery, because it was so much easier to catch.

They separated. Both of them stumbled a bit. Chase caught himself on the nearest wall. The Vision caught himself on the Leapfrog’s leg.

Chase turned and informed him that, oh, wow, they could do that again, whenever Vision felt the need.

Vision smiled benignly and told him not to worry, they’d be doing this soon enough. And Karolina was pretty hot.

Chase stared after him as he phased through the wall.
