"I will never understand your obsession with that bird," Tommy said scathingly.
Billy ignored him. Teddy growled at him.
"It’s just a stupid chicken."
Billy ignored him. Tommy waved a hand at him.
"It doesn’t do anything interesting. It doesn’t even act like a real chicken."
Billy ignored him. Teddy turned to glare at him.
"How long did it last in that dungeon, anyway? Five seconds?" the speedster taunted. "Or maybe that was just poor playing on Teddy’s part."
Billy ignored him. Teddy rubbed his forehead.
The three of them were silent as Chocobo kicked another monster into oblivion. Then:
"Aww!" Level Up!
Billy and Teddy paused, glanced at each other, then turned to look at Tommy, eyebrows arched.
The speedster was wearing a look of sheer infatuation.
"He’s been cutified," Teddy pronounced.
Billy ignored him. Tommy jumped onto the couch.
