"I am not dressing up as Santa, I don’t care how many little kids there are," Teddy growled, shoving the costume back across the table at Kate.
"But you’d be perfect! And you wouldn’t even need make-up!"
"No."
"Please?" Cassie begged, giving him her saddest wide-eyed stare.
"Not even for Cassie."
"Well, why not?" Kate demanded.
"He’s busy that day," Billy informed them, wandering through the kitchen and seeing both Santa suit and Teddy’s discomfort.
"You don’t even know what day it is!" Kate snapped.
"Yes, I do. And he’s busy that day."
Teddy took that as his cue to leave. Billy met him in the hall.
"So what am I doing that day?" Teddy asked, nibbling gratefully on his boyfriend’s ear.
Billy grinned. "Me."
