Summary: Geoffrey fixes the kitchen table and suggests they test its stability.
029: Kitchen Table
Geoffrey sighed and flipped the table over. There was absolutely no saving that broken leg, and he was tired of splinting it, only to have it break somewhere else. He reached into a drawer and pulled out a screwdriver to begin dismantling the thing and wondered where the spare might be.
Catharine sighed and went in search of it. The leg was surprisingly easy to find(it was hiding in the hall closet) and she took it back to the kitchen with her. When he noticed her, she dropped it in front of him.
“Thanks, baby,” he said. He screwed it in and secured it. She helped him flip the table upright.
“Is it stable?” she asked.
He pressed his hands to the top and rocked against it. “You know, there’s only one real way to tell for sure.”
“Oh?”
He scooped her up and pinned her to it, reaching up to unzip her pants.
