"You look fantastic," Stacey half-teased. "Like what’s-his-name, flew across the Atlantic."
"I look like Dale Yorkes in a ridiculous get-up."
"Yes. Him."
She grinned and adjusted her own ridiculous get-up. He glared at her and fiddled with the goggles he was refusing to put on. She slipped hers on and adjusted them, hoped he would once he saw she had.
He didn’t. "Why do we have to wear this, anyway?"
"We don’t have to," Stacey replied. "You wanted costumes, and you said I could pick. Don’t like it, don’t make deals."
He sighed, defeated, and morosely jammed the goggles on his head.
