I just saw Rent via free screening passes (thank you amy and jess). It was awesome. It was very well done, and had everyone in the movie theater in tears. They actually took out some of the awkward singing-conversations and made them just talking, and I think I liked it better. Sigh...

Yes we are back...but 2 out of 3 of you know what happened, so I am not going to hurry to post about Ireland. I'm going to relax in my apartment and hit up target and the grocery store.

LAST DAY OF WORK FOR LIKE 10 DAYS! I SO can't wait to go to New York AND SEE MY AMANDA and then on Sunday I'll see my AMY (sadly, I do not get to see my little hedgehog, Jess) ANd on Monday WE GO TO IRRRRREEELLLAAAND . I am moved into my new apartment!!! Last night was my first night here. It's so pretty! I am mostly unpacked. I have a bin of clothes left, and am waiting for the last of my laundry to dry. It is so nice to have the washer/dryer in my KITCHEN. I may acutally do it every week now. I still need to do the artwork, but I am waiting until I am sure ( Read more... )

My journal entries just seem so...lacking...when I read Jess's...I mean...I dunno how to make my life sound interesting.

I am moving into THE CUTEST area. The block around my apartment is quiet, a couple of apartment buildings and a bunch of nice (very) houses. But about a block or two down, there is a bunch of restaurants, cafes, even a PUB. The library (which looks nice and new) is on the corner, about 2 blocks away from me.
