pretty mittens :)

aren't you cooking?

I'm planning on baking some cookies and roasting a chicken... along with some veggies or something. I want to make rum balls but rum is a bit on the pricy side here, so we're still debating.

The box from my mom arrived, and inside (among other things!) was a snickerdoodle cookie kit, so I think I'll be making those tonight or tomorrow! :)

=DDD

I read below that you ran out of picture space and don't have time to weed through them right now in order to add more... you now have 2 months of extra space. =D Merry Christmas! =D

Those mittens are awesome! I might have to learn to knit;)

thanks, big grin... stranded knitting isn't easy but it really makes a nice effect... and the mitts are extra warm for her arthritic-y hands

I made a more simple pair for FIL as well but stupid LJ says I have to weed out 10 pics to post 1 new one, I haven't time for that right now!!!

hugs

Merry Christmas!

Hi Diana!

Your spread looks really, really amazing! That pate has my name on it :D

We had two kinds of soups ~ a seafood bouillabaisse and vegetable consommé, tossed salad with red wine sauce, spring rolls, baked chicken, smoked salmon, a variety of cheeses and fruits, lasagna, a whole roasted pig and hot chocolate. I think I also saw some muffins and flan in the kitchen. It's always a feast because the entire family is always together for christmas eve dinner. good times.

From my family to yours, have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year!
