This is one hell of a legal battle. Even though this is the second court now to determine Prop 8 as unconstitutional, or whatever, it's supporters are still fighting it.

They argue that majority opinion makes them right and allows them the privilege to determine the civil liberties of minority groups. Joke's on them. They may have majority now, but more youth actually support gay rights. The LGBT community can wait out for the 'majority' opinion to die out.
