This chapter was heartbreaking and difficult to read but very well-written. I'm really pleased that it wasn't a graphic chapter and I think that speaks volumes about how wonderful of a writer you are. I've read entirely too many fics, that I eventually had to give up on, that were graphic for the sake of shock-drama. It's very clear what happened to Edward and you didn't have to go into detail.

It seems as though Bella is going to be the one to save Edward rather than the other way around, which is refreshing. I enjoy your writing because it's never cliched.

I totally thought Edward was going to tell her that she was crazy or something worse. He was angry because he felt vulnerable, and he didn't want to be vulnerable anymore, am I right?

It must have been difficult for you to write this part. I feel sad about it.
