If you have room for it on your lot, definitely do it! The house gets so crowded with pets. I get sick of my sims complaining they can't move because one of the dogs are in the way. :)

I totally followed Solo around everywhere after he was born, completely obsessed with him, but yeah, he's completely stupid but makes up for it with cute!
I don't even know where Honey got her ginger hair from, but I love it too!
I'm kind of hoping Reid will find happiness in his twilight years, but then he may just get even worse. Poor Reid, hater of everything.
