Third wave! Robotnik's getting serious!

"Ohohohoho!" came the doctor's trademark laugh. "Good, GOOD! You all have passed the FIRST TEST. Now, for something a little... TOUGHER."

And with that, a good 200 red pawns dropped. These pawns were considerably tougher than the last ones (and while that doesn't mean much, assume by Sonic standards these take 3-4 hits each to destroy), and had blasters on them, though they aimed and fired quite slowly.

They all aimed for the heroes who had come, and began firing, as well as some converging inside buildings.

Ashley emerges from the front door of her mansion. Convinced there's no way she's going to be able to avoid lifting a finger this time, she watches as Kumatora and Daisy are fighting at her gates, finishing off the last of the normal pawns just as the red ones start to show up.

She starts to struggle even more as her PK Fire bursts can no longer bring down mutliple robots in one shot at a time. "And I thought this was such a peaceful town, too..."

"No kidding," Daisy puffed. "If I knew guys like Ro-butthead were living around here, I wouldn't have picked this city to live in!"

The floral princess felt her second wind dying down. She knew she had to keep fighting, but how?

... Wait. Wait wait wait, there was something she'd forgotten! That move she pulled in one of her soccer tournaments! It would definitely come in handy this time.

"Kumatora, get close to me! I've got an idea!"
