Characters: Goose, Rajani What: Title says it! Where: Weeee are going to see about that. %D; When: Christmas Day, futuredated heavily. Rating: PG to PG-13-ish.
Rajani had seen a lot of hype about this "holiday season" thing, but she had been unwilling to admit she had no idea what it was.
The Pokemon was still somewhat avoidant around people, so she did her best to not be found. However, seeing a familiar face wandering around would get her attention. What was he doing?
She stealthily (though unintentionally) approached him from behind, inquiring "Are you looking for something?"
She seemed a bit hesitant, so Goose didn't mind making the ride more easygoing for her to get her used to it. He didn't want to make her afraid of them or anything.
He let her climb in before letting the copter take off. He moved slow, but not to the point that it'd take them any longer to get to the continent they were seeking out.
He looked back at her with a reassuring grin. "Enjoyin' it?"
Rajani still felt a little uneasy, and it showed with her lack of an answer. She'd only ever traveled by floating foot; this experience was a little... dizzying? She wasn't sure if that was the word she was looking for, but the sooner they were there, the better.
Goose shrugged off her lack of a reply. Maybe she was either mesmerized or frightened with the flight? He couldn't really tell. Ah well, he'd see how she felt getting off once they reached their stop.
They did very quickly, and wound up in Little States' Washington Flight Club runway within the next hour.
"So," Goose started as he climbed out. "How're ya' feeling?"
Woah, hello there Rajani, you definitely didn't look very good. This... was not a nice sign. Goose wasn't sure if she just hated the ride period or if she was horribly motion sick.
"Hey..." He leaned close, cupping his hand over her cheek in concern. Personal space, what was that? "Ya' don't look so good."
That's okay, personal space was a foreign concept to Janie too. She looked up at him, shaking her head. "I-I will be fine... just give me a while, alright?"
Goose frowned, actually showing some worry, but he pulled away from her and replied, "Yeah, gotcha'. I'll wait for as long as ya need, 'k?"
He then leaned against the flight club building, glancing around at his surroundings. He took this time to enjoy the scenery around him. Wow... Little States! It's been so long!
That looked much better! Goose grinned, flinging an arm around his buddy's shoulders and looking around. Hmm, well, the nearby lights festival was only a matter of sitting in a boat and going down one of the rivers, watching the light displays as they did. Usually, he wouldn't go on one of those, but it just seemed very ~romantic~. Why not?
"How 'bout the lights display they've got?" Did she even know what that was?

But on the other hand... she trusted him.
Finally, she nodded. "...Alright."
