Luigi arrived about five minutes late. He tipped the cab driver and turned to face the building. He looked around, hands in his pockets. He had thought about bringing a gift, but he was afraid she might take it the wrong way, so he decided against it. "Daisy?"

Daisy's eyes lit up upon seeing her favorite plumber. With a girlish squeal, she ran over to Luigi and caught him in a huge hug.

"Luigi! Oh, it's so good to see you! How are you? I missed you so much!"

He jumped a little at the hug. "Oh, I'm fine, I'm fine... I missed you too, hehe."

He discretely checked his watch. "So uhh... how long have you been staying here?"

Daisy released him from the hug. "Oh, I've been living here since June, before my birthday. Oh, speaking of my birthday, your brother met me at Club Sugar that night! He wasn't too keen on dancing, though. But, I did do plenty of dancing without him. It was so much fun!

"So yeah, since June," she went on. "Banjo and Kazooie moved in shortly after I did. They needed a place to stay because they can't find their way home. Isn't that sad? I simply had to do something!"

She paused. "Oh, excuse me! I'm so sorry I'm rambling like that... so... anyway... would you like to come upstairs? Or do you just wanna take a walk or something?"
