It will! :D ...Or at least, that's what happened to me. I swear for months after I first got glasses (in.. uh.. sixth grade? Ish? No idea XD) I would put them on and look around at the world in total awe. "Mom! I can see every single leaf on that tree! :O OMG! I can see each individual hair on the dog!!" My vision's worsened so that driving without corrective lenses is a no-no, so I wear contacts all the time these days, but being caught with nothing on my eyes makes me really uncomfortable. Of course, I can't clearly see the TV and can't make out facial expressions from across a room, so this is not really that surprising. XD
But yeah. Are you near- or far-sighted? I've noticed far-sighted people tend to only wear their glasses when they need them, whereas us nearsighted mole-folk get dependent on them. Just my personal experience. XD
And you should be considering this: Does that mean that prior to getting these glasses, your whole life has been one big MS Escher painting and you just never noticed??
...All this time, the angles that I thought were right angles are actually oblique! Amazing!
I'm just barely nearsighted. My prescription is -1.00 in one eye and -1.25 in the other. It's enough to make the ground look closer to me than it really is, so I try to take a step up when there isn't one there XD. But what I see when I put on my glasses isn't so different, it's just that the edges are a lot cleaner. Text that's far away is clearer, too, and I think that has as much to do with astigmatism as myopia.
I'm kind of excited about having glasses. It means I can use the PC without getting headaches.
Glasses are awesome. XD Corrective lenses: Advanced technology and an aging population means they're no longer just for dorks! :D
I'm like.. -2.00 right and -2.25 left. So not that bad, but worse than when I started. XD
BTW, Mythos misses you. :O Maji's enacted a contract we all had to sign and a "must participate once a week" type rule. Not that that is incentive to come back but.. come back anyway. D:
It's happening...looking at the computer screen without my glasses is hurting my eyes...even though when I look at it through my glasses it's trapezoidal....
