He's just that little bit naughty, especially after breaking up with Victoria, to have the pot, though he'd probably never dare to actually smoke it - what if he had some kind of reaction and had to go to hospital and then everyone would find out that he'd broke the law and HIS WORLD WOULD END! To me Carlton is like the constant battle between the white and the dark lolcat, with his need to be bad cop but then his goody boy side. And I'm so pleased that you agree with it, because now I can safely consider it totally canon. <3<3<3 OMG, PLEASE WRITE THAT.

Yeah, I really do think that he has a bad boy streak running through him, and sometimes it comes through and he thinks he's being wild by not always going by the book, but then hot on the tail of that he has a voice in his head telling him that he's been a bad dog and he struggles with them both all the time. <3 <3 <3 Gahhh!! It's so tempting!! XD
LOL!!! We should make challenges for ourselves like that! Like write a fic for a muse in the style of...... *g* Well, of course that's how he's dealing with it, it's the on;y way he can avoid having to listen to those two voices fight it out. ^_^
Absolutely! It's making me wonder exactly at what point he started to mellow out and become the kind of dad that's more aware of protecting his son than teaching him...
