I woke up this morning for no particular reason, when the realisation settled over me that I didn't feel right. My insulin just got changed to a higher bedtime N dose (25 units) so I checked my sugars, and my reading was 50! A dietitian at the diabetes center here told me last time I was there that a good bedtime-ish snack might be something like some string cheese and an apple. She said, "That's a good combination of protein and carbs."
So, all that to basically say, I dunno.

I usually have 2 pieces of toasted bread with margarine or butter. Its not as heavy as a sandwich but still complexy.
Cereal is good too or a small amount of pasta.
Its pretty subjective though.
