yes, it wasn't rushed and it was organic to characters and the situation (I mean, I can't see mimi and stanley together in the pre-nuclear world).
EW, prison break... that's what happened when the authors listen to the fans, because they listen obviously to the most vocal ones and most of the time they are just a small part of the viewers... I really hope they don't do the same in Castle.
I know about Heat Wave, and I'm waiting for the paperback edition here in Italy. One of my flister read it and said the same, looks like a good "summer book" :)
