I have my own version of the 1'30 Curse -- it's the Chapter Eight Curse. There's something about being almost in the middle of a project that brings out all your anxieties and frustrations and makes you feel like you're never going to finish and how stupid were you to think you could take this on in the first place? And at that point all you can see is the flaws in your work and there's just No Joy.
I generally manage to get past the Curse in the end, but the way in which I do it, and the amount of time it takes for me to do it, is different for every project. I wish there was some kind of sure-fire method to get over that hurdle, but if there is, I don't know about it.
