Weekend full o' fandoms has been going great!
I got my copy of the Pushing Daisies DVD and already re-watched and re-obsessed with the whole season. Along with my brother, too, who apparently is the next generation of Daisies fans. Seriously, he watched 3 whole episodes with me. Two in a row!
I mean, I already knew he'd liked it a while back, but I ( Read more... )

My weekend has been long and emotional :/

BUT, I did watch the Thursday and Friday eps of TDS and The Report. Hilarity. I must admit, however, that your quote above was not 1 of my 2 favorites from that interview (although it did crack me up). I preferred these 2:

"Could Washington run during this current election, or would the press obsess on things like, you know, he doesn't have a flag lapel pin on his slaves?"

"Thomas Jefferson actually made more slaves."

Oh Stephen, you sleigh me.

*hugs*

Oh, those two were great quotes as well. It's just that I'm a sucker for Colbert breaking character, and he clearly did at that bit. Plus, I don't know why, I loved the high-pitched "are you guys online?"

ooooooooooh you should watch Pushing Daisies, it's the most adorable and beautiful TV show ever!
haha the styrofoam cup was so random I kind of chocked when it showed up. But hey, it's TCR! We're used to random by now.
Better Know a Lobbyst was the best ever!

Hey, if Viacom ever finds out, we'll yell at them. There's no other way for us to watch their episodes, is there?

Really? I found Dan in Real Life quite easily.
Do you use torrents? You can find it quite easily on mininova.

random is love. :)

Me neither. And not only that, but on Sony the TDS Global Edition comes a week late. I assume it's because of the subtitles, but still!
I mean, it's bad enough it's a show about American politics on Brazilian TV, it's got little audience on CNN already, then it goes on Sony, a channel that has NOTHING to do with TDS, news, or politics, so pretty much no one that doesn't know the show already gets the jokes, and to makes things better it comes a week later.
At least that's how it went when it used to air on Tuesdays. Now that it's airing on weekends maybe it doesn't happen like this anymore, 'cause it used to make me real mad.

You're welcome. :)
