Oh, so sorry to hear that Vegas is trying to go to the Dark Side on you! Noooooo! I got away with getting my Vegas to use .AVI files twice but just when I was ready to celebrate... The third time wasn't a charm! :( So now it's back to having to render all of my .AVI files into .WMV through WMM first, then send them over to Vegas. :( That gets tiring really fast! (Plus it takes forever to render even parts of episodes or whatever.) And I really liked being able to have nice, big vids at the end instead of the little 428x240 that the WMM-rendered footage produces.
*sigh* And I think that somebody is holding my vidding muse Veronica hostage somewhere, too! She left in a huff right after Vegas refused to use any more .AVIs and I haven't seen her since! O_O

My Vegas handles .AVIs fine! I mean, every music video I've made in a while were made with .AVIs. This time, I'm using .WMVs. Harmless .WMVs! And yet it chose to not work at all this time!
But you can re-size the files on MM. I mean, the file gets a bit bigger in MBs as well, but they're bigger.
