is there anything happening in the leeds/manchester area on saturday? i think im going to be in leeds on either saturday or sunday or both. if anything was on i might stay saturday night

Don't know about Leeds, but there's the Summer Carnaval Street parade and afterparty here in Rotterdam :-) You're welcome :-)

just stretching the leeds/manchester thing a bit far sorry. is that the thing we saw last year with all the floats?

No, but it is similar. Same type of parade (slightly bigger, even) Music is a bit different, more like a South American Carnaval thing. With the Brazilian drummer type bands (50 drums in a band..ehm..I'll check if I can find some more members for the 24 bosomy drummer quartet :-)..)

The one you are talking about will be held on August 11, during SD. We could go there during the day if everybody wants to.
