My absolute most favorite person in the entire world is my sister. She's two years younger than I am, she's got more mysterious medical ailments that consistently have the doctors stumped, she's got anxiety issues, she works forty hours a week while going to school full time and basically has enough stress in her life due to all of the above (

Though it sounds like they would be insane to fire her, with the current economic climate it don't hurt to cover your bases.

She can ask some of those lawyers that fight to have her to write up a letter to go in her file (don't hurt to have good things on the record too).

She can also keep track of all the tasks she does (I know this will take time, which might not be easy to come by, even a week;s worth of data would be useful). Having this list of the jobs that she does, especially the "extra jobs", is another way to add a little positive insurance against the other paralegals' ministrations.

Actually, that is some truly excellent advice and I've already passed it along (whereas my advice to her was to prepare documentation demonstrating a hostile work environment in case she has to quit and needs to go on unemployment for a while). I'm glad there's someone out there with a 'glass half full' outlook to counter my 'scorch the earth' outlook. Thank you!
