You know, this community is a lot harder to manage than I thought it would be. I think I'm a pretty nice mod. I try to accomdate everybody's "needs" when I really shouldn't. I should make all deadlines one week after another after another because they are deadlines and they make it easier for me to deal with. I extend deadlines for people because I ( Read more... )

Pssh, that's stupid. I thought it was an awesome idea to allow the winners two entries in the next contest. It serves as an actual incentive to win, and encourages participation in the next contest.

I think this is a great comm, and your rules are very together. It sounds like people are just jealous of the winners being rewarded like that.

First of all, I just wanted to say that you are awesome for starting/maintaining this community... I know that you put a lot of hard work in it, so you deserve to impose rules, which you think are fair and proper. :)

And.. So winners get to post 2 entries. So what, right? Winning is fun, but it's not everything... I mean, just making D/Hr graphics is FUN for me.. Er, because I like staring at their pictures. They make me *SQUEE*. Haha.

mods makes the rules. THEY put 85% of the effort into the communties. If someone bitches, ignore them. I know it's hard, but ignore them since it's not your fault.

Personally, I think you're an awesome mod. I've had some encounters with really hellish people, and I think you're doing a wonderful job pacifying everybody and bending your own rules to fit others' needs. Go you. :)

I think its a great idea. More pretty icons to look at, something to strive for for those who didn't win, and, as others have mentioned - I assume, not having actually read the other comments (:P) - just because there's one more icon from someone who's already won, doesn't mean that someone else can't win. Its just another icon, and its like a few more people have joined. Its not like they - those who didn't win - can't make something prettier than them and win the next time.
