I know it's a typo, but I totally laughed at the '??' - "It's going to be awesome... I think..."

And yay indeed - editing will commence once I reply to all those kind people down below.

ANB: If you really want to ovulate, take a look at those photos. OMG. It made me want kids & kids is something that is not happening for another 10 years or so, literally. Lots of pics, but, oh-so-cute.

I'm so scared of OCs that I refused to put a name on either baby - I couldn't even pick a sex for Nolan's! Hijack away.

Money & sleep - ditto!

Someone was at 5000 & they were worried they wouldn't be able to wrap it up in another 5, so I don't know if they reached the max, but I was amazed that they were concerned with it.

My brother DID NOT build a crib - we had the ruffle conversation when he was finally buying some home stuff & was like, "Do I need a ruffle?" Me: Uh, no. Not unless the box spring bothers you that much.

I don't know that either of us ate paste, but my brother did convince me to eat dirt one time. I was like 5 - shut up!

Speaking of sleeping in drawers... I found it while writing the piece.

They would build a crib only if Zach was convinced that the wood they were using did not come from a rainforest. He'd actually prefer if it was made from bamboo. And as long as Zach promised not to use any gum - that would be against safety standards.

A New Beginning:
Moments of Kunzite with his child(ren) always make my heart melt. I loved the setup of his tenderness towards the baby and his vow to protect her from all evils. His feelings called out to me so palpably, I wish I could give him a hug to assure him he'll be able to find redemption in his daughter. The ficlet is wonderful.

Homemade:
I couldn't stop laughing. Yet for some strange reason Nolan does seem to the one to freak out the most of the shitennou when it comes to his children. His rant is priceless and amusing - the image of him becoming red-faced as he shouted at Serena and Lita was very vivid in my mind. I could almost picture the other couples smirking and rolling their eyes if they were in the same room. And what a sweet ending too. :)

Also, same curiosity as V: what's the gender of Nolan and Lita's baby?

ANB: He definitely needs a hug. I'm glad I was able to get everything across. I really wanted to show how tender he was because he needed to be, for both of them. Thanks!

Homemade: I think Nolan would worry about getting into dad mode, because it comes to naturally to Lita & it's a comparison thing for him. I'm leaning towards male - in memory of one of my former kids who seriously had humongous hands & feet for a 2-year-old, but I haven't really decided. ^^

I loved the last 3 lines of A New Beginning. So powerful.

I feel sorry for the kid if it's a girl with sasquatch feet. but then, I would love it too. I hope his kids take after Lita. But I got no real worries. They have hawt babies too. Nolan can just be a little...loopy.

Nolan is such a dork. He probably slept in a stupid-crib himself. I love how he overreacts and blames it on the women.
And it's cute how Serena listens and just rolls her eyes and then schools him on the happenings of the crib. It seems she is used to this.. can't help but wonder what else the guys have done that has warranted this reaction.

Someone needs to make fun of him about this later on. :D

Those last three lines are basically what ANB is about, so I'm glad you found them powerful.

If a little girl had Sasquatch feet, she would grow into them.. hopefully.. ^^;

One wonders about the intelligence of Nolan's own baby crib. I think all of them have a relatively high tolerance of Nolan's ranting, except for maybe Raye... Nolan's a total teddy bear with his long dark hair & big hairy feet.

The first one broke my heart a little, because, OH, JESUS KUNZITE, my heart aches for you and you wanting to be the best daddy ever. Such a lovely character moment with him being all daddy-like and then that moment when she looks at him and he wants her to be proud of him because he needs it. *wibbles*

She would be his new beginning, because he could not stand to have two pairs of the exact same eyes, secretly eyeing him with paranoia and fear.

This line! JUST. *wibbles more* The awareness, the hurt, and the determination NOT to have his baby girl look at him like that. Oh, Kunzite, I ADORE you!

Then, NOLAN. OMG. I could not stop laughing. He's just the best ranter ever! Sasquatch feet! "He needs his room Serena!" LOL. I could hear the frantic desperation in his voice and looooved it. Best! And then you end it with the CUTEST image ever!

It was supposed to pull your heartstrings! He needs the trust that was lost on him by mom & he really just needs her. A fresh slate with someone he could love with everything in him.

And that line was giving me the worst trouble ever, so YAY that it got across correctly.

There was completely frantic desperation with Nolan - he's afraid of squishing his baby on top of killing it & making stupid. He has some issues to work through quite honestly... =)

I know we're supposed to be way more gender/sex-equal in these times but damned if a dad cuddling with a baby still doesn't make me "awwww."
