CHIHIRO navidson ☍ original charactertransfusionalNovember 15 2009, 07:31:44 UTC
This really wasn't the type of "holiday vacation" that he had in mind, but who was he to deny his friend's request of getting out of town and heading to this hotel that he had heard about?
Saying no to Addison was like committing some sort of giant sin - not to mention that without the other boy around it would prove just a little bit too much of a pain to live life day by day. He needed him around. He was the only who could keep Chihiro up to par, after all, plus everyone else just had a sour taste.
Anyway...
Having seperated himself from Addison for a chance to explore the hotel and give it a quick looksie, Chihiro finds himself standing in the lobby and looking up at the relatively large mural painted above. "Interesting," he says, voice soft and almost inaudible unless one is in earshot. "I wonder who they commissioned to do that."

When the train had pulled up to a stop - the stop that should have taken him back home - Souji had found himself in a weird town that he didn't know the name of nor did it look like it was all that inhabited. Izanagi seemed a little uneasy, as well, but it was easy enough to pass it all by as just a missed stop.
The next train would be coming soon, after all, and until then they could at least seek a bit of shelter from the weather.
Plus it was steadily beginning to grow dark and while the leader of the Inaba crew could take some decent care of himself, it probably wouldn't be wise to do something in the middle of nowhere and in a town he knew nothing about. So onward he goes, into the nearest (and quite possibly the only hotel/inn/whatever it is they're calling it these days) and gives a curt nod to the doorman before stepping through and inside.

A dilemma, this is. A fine predicament, one that shouldn't be happening. Yet it is. And for all the concern it's causing, for all the questions it's raising, for all the dread it's inspiring, he can't deny that it's also...reassuring

What...
What was this place?
It wasn't Nippon, it wasn't Kamui, and it most certainly was not the Celestial Plain, either. So just where exactly did he seem to find himself this time? If getting lost in the middle of a snow storm in Kamui was bad enough, winding up in some rather odd looking building was a whole other story. The people were dressed strangely but took to greeting despite this - a slight bow of the head to whoever said 'Hello!' or 'Welcome!' and a blank look of gratitude when a woman in a rather, well, flattering outfit took his coat

After Yami's defeat and arriving on the Celestial Plain, a long awaited rest had been bestowed upon the Goddess of the Sun. Though where she had once been curled up under a great sakura tree, branches swaying in the wind as petals danced all around, the sun shining bright and warm and happy overhead, and the distant sound of a flute being played filled the air things seemed to have changed
