>_> Okay, I'm feeling better now. I just love this fic so much!! *huggles* David being insecure? So him. The mix between humor (running trace samples on clothes that went out of fashion before he'd been *born*) and the little bit of suspense too; the memory of dropping that letter in Nick's locker and his Certain Doom that was sure to follow kept popping out at him. Great stuff there. :D
Oh, poor Dave. He almost screwed it up; luckily, he was able to salvage it via favorite-food telepathy. And this they ended up talking, having an actual conversation, with words and everything is just so funny. A conversation with words? Who ever heard of such a thing? ^_-
YES! Another date. (I'd beg for a sequel, but I know I keep pestering more parts of WWB/WCA.) Just loved this, Ms. Louise!
I love the theme of this piece the most. he wouldn't regret the attempt.
Yeah, I imagine some fluff would be very welcome in the middle of the intensity of "What Went Before." BTW, this means that we'll be getting the next part of that soon, then, right? Because I really, really want Nick and Greg to find David.
Where was I? Oh yeah! Fluffy! Would that all New Year's resolutions worked out that well. David was so caught up in his own insecurities that I'm not sure he noticed Nick's but there were some nice little touches of it here and there. Fun read!

The attempt is the most important part.
