Hi everybody. I'm new. My parents (of all people) got me hooked on CSI this year and I fell for our darling Hodges pretty much instantly. This is my first attempt at fan fiction since a friend and I ran a Star Wars FF website years ago. And I do mean years ago.

Oh, this is very good. I admire you for not having them jump into bed together in a fit of sorrow I must say. Not that I don't like that sort of thing. But this was something different and it was done very well. They were very much in character. And you should write more fan fiction, you rock at it. :)

Wow, awesome story, and nice and long too! I like that it wasn't a stereotypical romance. While the traditional rebound-relationship is fun to read, this kind of thing is far more realistic and probably in-character. Great job, and I really hope we'll see more of your writing in the future!

I have to second jaygoose, you have my kudos for keeping them away from any beds alone, but that's not all I like this for. The fact that you kept both Hodges and Sara IC, especially when they're both a bit sad and Sara's even crying earns you my admiration, new here or not. I was really worried when I got to the crying Sara in the locker room, as pretty much every fic I've read that includes a crying Sara has been exceptionally OOC, but the way you managed to end this shows some real potential. So welcome to the lovely madness, and I hope you have more fic to post soon.

Well, there's a reason so many of us thought it was IC: it was. Simple as that.

When it comes to more practice, just write and post, I'm sure you'll get instant feedback, knowing us. Also, if you ever need a beta (not that I noticed anything saying you do, trust me, you'd have already known if I did) or someone to run an idea by, just give me a poke.
