Russell T Davies: 'I won't be involved in Doctor Who 50th anniversary' "I think I'd be like the ghost at the feast," he said. "What would I do - turn up and make the tea?"
I wonder if they would consider a remake of "Shada" with Tom Baker as Professor Chronotis.

Whatever they do, I hope it's fitting for remembering Dr Who across the five decades. Something that captures the essence of the series and the unique characteristics of each individual Doctor.

I just hope that he lives long enough for it to be a possibility. This has been a bad year for anyone who set foot in Baker's Tardis.

I'd like something workable along those lines with a modern story, as long as it's fairly believable. There's no explanation in Shada itself for how Professor Chronotis came back from the dead (in his nightgown) when Clare Keightley "crossed the time lines" or something).
(At least Lalla Ward is still alive)
