I don't really get the whole Gale thing. There didn't seem to be anything towards him from Katniss except friendship. He was more like a brother.

I agree. He really isn't much in the books to have that connection with her other than a sibling relationship.

I will read it eventually lol, I've heard the books are really good I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
