Yeah, I was a little terrified just writing it. There's a movement, by the way, to hold next year's in Toronto . . . would it be presumptuous of us to assume you'd appear?

I'm picturing myself appearing in a dramatic puff of smoke!

Since my excuse is always lack of time and money, I can't imagine anything would prevent me from showing up - which means a large meteor is now on its way.

The pizza in Toronto sucks but I'm sure there'll be other foods to tempt you.

Hmmm. I did have lousy pizza in Toronto.

I'm now half-expecting Ann to make me a Zachary's deep-dish icon, and I won't even be around to appreciate it! (Of course I'll appreciate it.)

The night after you left, I cooked a sauteed spinach and garlic dish (a side to the pasta) for the group dinner. Partly inspired by your spinach intake at the seafood dinner the earlier night.

As I left a whole bag of spinach in the fridge, and a whole clove of garlic in the cabinet, just sitting there untouched, I can only hope that I contributed materially as well as inspirationally!

I did *not* hoard the shower. No one asked to use it. Pbbbbbbttt!!

And the room was *not* the size of the Sistine Chapel, the closet being "third left turn and straight ahead" notwithstanding.

P.S. We'll consider this your definitive compte rendu so please be disregarding any messages suggesting it might not be. Heh.

You may not have hoarded the shower, but we were definitely horde-ing the other one.

Ba-dump-duh.

I think peggus was the one who left the puzzle half-finished. I only even touched just one piece. I did, however, not finish the Guardian crossword Toby brought me.

Just upstream from Toronto are some pretty sizable rapids. It's less traditional to run them in rafts, though; the more usual craft is the barrel.

Thanks!
