I've decided that this should be a new idiom, a complement to the frayed, frazzled lucubration of "burning the candle at both ends," a zesty, breakfasty metaphor for eagerly embracing the day. So, he rests his case on a hybrid that's been being cultivated for 7,000 years, one that due to its human-engineered sterility must be reproduced via un-Christian cloning? Evidently the Christian right (or as I like to think of them, the Christian wrong) thought that March of the Penguins was a perfect example of intelligent design. Evidently having to go back and forth 70 or more miles of frozen wasteland is an example of intelligence.
