You're quite right, the video is fantastic. And I did spend a little bit of time trying to figure out for myself why the moon was veering off course on the animation, but I got there eventually! All good fun.

Thank you. Some of it is just how I repositioned the camera, but I think some of it has to do with the fact that these things move in ellipses anyway, so I'm afraid that any "corrections" I could make would get something wrong.

Yeah, my astronomy is severely dodgy, but I have vague memories of the fundamental problems in working out distance and things because of the assumption of circular orbits, and the idea of circles within circles and things, which was my jumping on point.

I have to download Flash 8. Will take 30 minutes (my connection must be really slow today). Can't wait. (Of course, am avoiding writing my sermon--don't like this version either)

I don't have Flash 8, so I'm not sure it's worth it. Have you tried the megaupload link instead?

It's a .wmv anyway.

Hmmmm for time between third and fourth contact, I thought you were going to just flip the images. That's why we started uploading pictures--we'd seen the rest of the movie already

Yeah. That, like correcting the skew, sounds like work.

Saw it on flash 8. It says it's not available on youtube.

Great. Better on the real video ofcourse. Better yet in person.

Third new Easter sermon. Hope to finish at least something tonight. Have to do two for Sunday

I'm working with my characteristic patience on the YouTube. But once it gets uploaded, it should be better than the PhotoBucket version (I re-rendered it at a higher quality).

Good luck with the sermons.
