It is only recently that I've even discovered that I was a boar. Led astray by the placemats in several otherwise reputable restaurants, I thought I was born in the Year of the Rat (which started the day after I was born.) However, by the Chinese Solar Year, I am a rat -- so I am not sure how being born during the cusp effects my personality.

Hmm, I think I'm the Year of the Boar as well. I was going to do a joke about hogging crosswords, but then I decided it was against my better judgement.

The year of the boar is a very auspicious year in which to be born. We were told that by multiple Chinese students when our daughter was born in that year too.
