I am updating from Cuzco, Peru, where I have altitude sickness; this is a step up from Peurto Maldonado, where I had constant heatstroke. Have fun, be safe, and I hope you feel better! (Wow, I sound like a parent. But it's all sincere!)

Take lots of pictures too, so those of us at home can all be very jealous ;)

Picture. Just one old thing that speaks to you. Oh dear.. I hope that wasn't like Beauty asking for a rose. (I mean simply in the sense of the wrong thing to ask, if that isn't transparent.)

Try drinking some of the coca leaf tea the Peruvians drink for altitude sickness. I used it when I was in Cusco, and it seemed to help.
Takes time to get acclimatized.
You're going to love Machu Picchu..it's actually lower in altitude than Cusco I think.

Been there, except the heatstroke part. I hope you feel better with some time to spare before you come back, & I'm glad you can still have fun!

And I hope the sky is clearer where you are now! I never saw so many stars, or saw them look so close, as on the Bolivian altiplano.

Damn. Now I'm jealous.
