I also find it beautifully apt, in a really twisted way that he's that angry, in part, of behalf of a dead priest.

I had hopes this show would entertain me but I'm startled by how much more it's delivering.

YES The friendship between the two was really well done and the fact that he's a priest only adds to Lucifer's anger.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by the first episodes, but it's been getting better by the episode since ep6. I used to describe it as "surprisingly enjoyable", but with this episode I'm upgrading that to "surprisingly good".
