Well, I now have a half share in a new Macbook. . . the entry level one, of course. I took some of my earnings from AuroraCon to help pay for it (I did far better at this local anime convention in 2 days than I did at all 4 days of AX). I don't really need anything more powerful than this, nor a bigger HD. Because of the redesigned versions

I'm still going to check out iChat! I just haven't had a chance. I kind of had a break through on the book, so that has kept me busy. Plus, last week was horrid ... and the kiddo's broken hand, etc.

I'd been meaning to send an email about the kiddo but such is the curse of the lazy person. ^^; Anyway, the gist would have been this: you're not a bad parent because she broke her hand. That could have happened any one of a dozen ways. Also, you couldn't have known her hand was broken at the time, since she could still move her fingers. The school should have sent her home though.

However. . .

And you knew there had to be a caveat, right? :p
