Weak In The Knees Music Video!

Well, it looks like I got an early Christmas present, folks! loopyallie has done me a huge honor and made a music video for my X-Files story Weak in the Knees!! I'm especially honored that she felt inspired to make this video for Dana and Jess since I happen to know she's a pretty big Scully/Reyes shipper

Thank you so much! Surprisingly it was only 4 days ago when I warned dhamphir (joking!) I asked for permission about my inspiration. Its the matter of having photographic memory which I happen to have a gift for that you can speed up the process if you have the available clips :) I love having a challenge in vidding :)

Whoa, very close to the pics you chose for your Jess(is it the same person?) and an English accent! The video is extremely well put together! This is one of the few characters in fan fiction which is not canon but should be and the video just adds to the story of Jess and Dana.Perhaps you and loopyallie can collaborate on a new story!

Actually it's not the same person. The person I chose for Jess is an anonymous model so loopyallie asked who I'd suggest as a substitute that she could get footage on for the vid. The best choice seemed to be Selene (Kate Beckinsale) from Underworld. With the way she spliced and tinted the footage, it really works well!!

This is one of the few characters in fan fiction which is not canon but should be and the video just adds to the story of Jess and Dana.
Wow! That is really a heck of a compliment!! And it's times like this I'm reminded just how much I love Dana and Jess and how grateful I am that others love them as well. :D

Thank you so much for your comment here and on my lj! :) Like what dhamphir said, that Selene was a great candidate for Jess in the video as of course shes a vampire and there isnt really other ones actresses that look similiar to the "real" Jess...

English accent? Well Jess did live in England with her Grandfather so I remember, yes? lol

It's a fantastic tribute, and I'm blown away by it. loopyallie always does quality work with her videos, so I knew it would be great, but I didn't imagine it would be so perfect. It creates scenes right out of Weak in the Kneese, yet gives nothing essential away. It's the perfect companion piece to the story. I love it.

I feel so happy that dhamphir is taken by the video :) I was so nervous sending it over in case she had high expectations. :D

I hadn't read the story (stories), but when I get the time, I will. If nothing else, the video made me want to read the stories more, lol. I agree that there should be a collaboration or something for another video to advertise stories.
