4 "first line" X-Files ficlets

Over the last couple days, I've been taking prompts and filling them. I've had a blast doing this, and will probably do this again sometime. In each case, the prompter provided the first line and I did my best to come up with something. I decided to organize these.

Fairly new to LJ but your work has caught my interest.I'm a fan of Jess and Dana. Weak in the Knees was superb. The first line is a fun idea and it's also a way to prevent withdrawal for those of us addicted to your original character Jess!
Here's a line: In the middle of nowhere, Jess could feel her body's cry for blood.

Well, welcome aboard. I really like writing Dana and Jess. And while I'm not ready to tackle the sequel to Weak in the Knees yet, these little ficlets help keep them fresh in my mind.

If you really like Jess, you may want to check out the prequel "Snapshot." It'll give you a more comprehensive look into what made her who she is.

Hmmm... the cutoff for prompts was over three hours ago. But as a welcome, I'll make an exception. :D

Thank you and I realized the cut off time after I posted. Sorry! I have read Snapshot and I appreciate the pictures of the characters. Knowing what they look like adds to the enjoyment of reading your work. I am really pleased you're making an exception for me! I like this concept. People are
throwing out some good ideas.

I was really thrilled to find the pics for my characters. It actually gave my muse a boost while I was writing Snapshots. And when I'm ready to tackle the sequel, I know they'll help then too.

Thanks. Heh, well I couldn't have Calleigh come between Dana and Jess. It only seemed right that someone point Calleigh in the right direction!! *lol*

They were all great! The carrot one was hilarious!

The last one with Calleigh, I thought oh no! I thought she was going to hit on Dana full stop and make Jess rabid! *hehe* It was cool of Jess suggested her to pair up with Natalia. I love the wording with Dana and Jess's loving glances in that one.

The Rock was tense and emotional, let me guess, Mulder...

Would you believe I was watching Hell's Kitchen when I wrote A Carrot?! ;-)

I like that Dana and Jess can say so much with just a look. There's something to be said about that magical bond they share. :D

I must admit that Her Rock is one of my favorite Dana/Jess ficlets.

Hehe.. very nice. Liked how Jess was getting jealous as Dana and Calleigh were talking about how good the relationship is. :)
