This is an extremely interesting story, but if this were reality; they'd be in *real* trouble, as that relationship is a firing offense according to US Military Code of Conduct, basically... they'd be bordering on a courtmartial and dishonorable discharge, so thus this is clearly merely a story.

Since when is fanfic reality? Besides, this is an AU where Thor got the President to approve their marriage. So Janet and Kris don't have to worry about it.

And as for reality, DADT is no long policy and the UCMJ no longer prohibits same sex relationships since Sept 21, 2011.
