This is lovely. It hits all the right notes for me. Scully coming to trust Logan; Dana-the-woman noticing Nicole-the-woman; Nicole's expensive tases, even. It's just excellent.

I absolutely hate not having access to the internet. I feel lost without it. *lol*

I'm so glad to hear that. :D Exploring 'Dana-the-woman' is the whole reason I like writing X-Files. It's nice to know others like her too.

I do too, but it was my nephew's first birthday. I ended up spending the weekend with family instead of internet. Not precisely a bad thing, but I miss all the lovely fic people posted over the weekend.

Oh absolutely! She compartmentalizes so much and so well that when someone gets in far enough to begin to see the parts that she keeps hidden, it's like a well-earned reward.

Exactly! That's why I had so much fun with her and Jess in Weak in the Knees. Although, that fic only covered a six week period, so in Dana's Malakim I'm taking a much slower approach. But to be fair, she is dying so her priorities are elsewhere right now.

I love it that you have an "X-file" working as an X-file in your stories, if you understand what I mean? Jess and Nicole, makes them superior with their job with understanding in that field...

Thank you. Even though she was assigned to work with Scully, she genuinely likes Dana. Logan told Dana the truth... just not all of it. ;)
It was a delight to seeing them just chilling out and interacting like normal people. I am glad that Dana is becoming more comfortable but her territorialism comes and goes, been a few chapters since shes been like that, until this "Linda" calls lol!
They're becomeing friends, which I think is good for both of them. Dana's is a little inconsistent with her feelings just as her health has its ups and downs. She's not on an even keel at this point.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's part of why I really like both Jess and Nicole. But I may have to write a 'normal' character for Dana sometime. *lol*
