Question about Allen and Noah's

Jan 27, 2011 02:45

So, I'm working on No Backing Out, finally, and have a question -

Does Allen ever see the Noah's souls? In particular, Tyki's? If so, what chapter is that in, or if you don't remember, what did he see/think, what was it like?

Thanks guys!

He doesn't, at any point in the manga.

first, terribly happy to hear you're working on the next chapter. *__*

second, nope, as far as I know, the only souls Allen can see are the akuma's. the whole "terrible ghost in the middle of a normal crowd" thing we saw so often when the manga was still in the beginning. the normal people looked, well, normal, with no extra attachments, while the akuma with the soul chained to it stood out. *nod, nod* people who read this, if my memory is failing me, feel free to correct me, but nope, no noah souls for allen, i don't think so.

also, i think, since the noahs are technically human, if Allen saw their souls wouldn't he have to see normal people's (non-akuma's) souls too?
and then, does seeing their out-of-control noah form (like Tyki in the ark) count as seeing the noah part of their souls? hmmmmmm. now i'm kinda curious... XD

that would be pretty awesome, if you ask me. cause as tyki's in, (crazed blood thirsty) noah mode, would there be an extra presence surrounding him?

here!

From what it looks like, Allen can't see souls or sense anything from Noah.

No, his curse does not allow him to see anything that would make him able to distinguish a Noah from a normal human.
However, it would seem from both Kanda's fight with Skinn Bolic and from the scene on the Ark after Tyki was slashed by Allen's sword that the Inner Noah becomes temporarily visible when a Noah is losing themselves to the Noah's Memory.

*agrees* :D

Also, when Allen started awakening I wonder if Kanda could see that creepy ghost-thing:

I would imagine he'd be able to, since it looks like it's being formed out of something at least semi solid. :)
