In a not-so-random hallway

[kanda_da]

Kanda is sitting on the floor just outside hammer_echo's suite wearing his prototype uniform with an Allen coat over one arm. He has an empty Mugen-sheath on his back and a plain katana on his hip. It's very hard to tell at first glance whether he's crabby, calm, or distracted.

[Bug him, or maybe one of the people who lives here will invite him

[Reever is walking down the hallway, pausing every once in a while to lean on his cane to catch his breath. When he sees the teenager Kanda, he smiles.]

H'llo, Kanda. How are you?

[ooc: I gotta run to my class... so, uh, placeholder? xD;]

[If that's what it takes, then Reever just jerks his hand free from Kanda's grip. He leans against the wall to allow himself to slide down to the floor, clutching his stomach as he tries to stop his coughs.] I'm... I'm not sick... just *cough* injured...

[kanda_da]

[Kanda looks down] Injured is even easier to fix. Were you stabbed, shot, crushed, or what?

*mumbles*Burned... I got stabbed in the stomach and the acid spilled into my internal organs, so they aren't functioning that well. I have to take it slow for a few days and try not to jarr anything...

[kanda_da]

...Yeah, okay, so you were right. No "COPD" and the fucking clinic can't help you. Unless you want some painkillers.

[teachereever]

*shakes his head* No pain killers, either. Liver and kidneys won't be able to flush it out of my system properly...

[kanda_da]

So I just put you through all that shit for no fucking good reason?

[He smiles at him kindly] You're worried and you did what you thought is best, Kanda-kun. I don't think that's 'no fucking good reason'. Thank you.

I'm not your "Kanda-kun"...

*chuckles* Hai, hai. *pats the floor beside him, though he doubts Kanda would sit* I told you what's wrong with me, so tell me what you were doing.

[kanda_da]

[Kanda does, in fact, sit down in the indicated spot. He clutches the coat and stares at the opposite wall.]

I was just sitting there.

[teachereever]

*looks a bit surprised, though he's glad that the teen actually sat* You didn't look like you were meditating, and you're not one to just sit around for no reason, as far as I know. Are you waiting for someone?

[kanda_da]

I was waiting for Lavi, but any of his huge fucking pile of roommates would be good enough.

[teachereever]

... Lavi? And how many times must I tell you not to swear? *sighs*

If swearing is your biggest fucking problem with me, then I think we're doing pretty fucking well.
