(Bartender!Kanda leads his new roommate into the two-room apartment he's ended up with. There's little sign someone lives here, as he hasn't spent much time in it).

The couch in this room pulls out into a bed. I'd advise you pull it out and get in. The only reason they let you out is they didn't want you around that pregnant woman who came in.

Hate to be so much trouble, but in my condition, it's difficult for me to stand for very long, much less pull out a couch mattress.

Fine. (He pulls it out, and reaches for some blankets and pillows to make it up). But once this bed is made, you have to lie in it. I'm going to be checking on you to make sure you don't sneak off to do anything you're not supposed to be doing.

As if I would want to... *it had been quite a task making herself walk from the darn clinic all the way out here as it was.*
