[A far cry from the horror happening in one hall, there's an odd sight in another. A very pregnant female Lavi waddling down the hall with her hand on the wall for balance, dressed in a hospital gown.

She stops and leans against the wall, panting softly as she looks back over her shoulder.]

What a time for it to up and move on you, yeah. How about we look for it together?

[Sitting in a chair nearby, hopefully close enough to keep hold of one of Mattias's hands, but he'll do his best to keep out of the way of the doctors and nurses]

Hey, that's what friends are for, yeah. And I did promise I'd be here.

Ya did. [Soft smile.] How's Allen? [Fill her in on things! It'll distract her from contractions. Sob.]

He's getting better, yeah. Eating healthier. Looking healthier. [Finally off those stupid pills thanks to one grumpy Meansprout]

He still is missing a couple of people that went home fiercely, but I think that he is starting to come out of his shell.

[And hopefully getting to know Chase a bit better. Lavi's probably in the dark about their most recent fight]

Has he been by recently? To see how you're doing, yeah.

[She gives him a strained but happy smile, eye somewhat closed.] That's good, I sort of miss tha Allen I first met. He hasn't felt tha same since then, really...

[They're...talking and clearing things up. She shakes her head.]

I haven't seen him in ages, not since I was dusting my apartment.

[Glad that Tias closed her eyes. That gives him opportunity to turn away from her for a second. Because Tias was right. He really hadn't been the same]

[And on some days, Lavi missed that little street performer terribly]

Yeah. I know what you mean.

[That's good. Lavi is still rooting for you, Chase. In his own little Bikevi way]

Maybe you can leave the kids with Kanda for a day and come visit us one night. I'm sure he'd love to see you. I can come help babysit if you think they might be a handful for him.

[She misses him too, Lavi. Even if she didn't know him as well as you...he seemed so much happier in those days.]

He'd be terrified ta be left alone with them. Perhaps Tyki as well once we all learn how ta take care of them.

How about I arrange a little night out for you and Allen, and I'll help Yuu supervise the little ones.

[No offense. He doesn't really trust them with Tyki. He'd rather they were with Kanda or Cross]

'm thinking it might be a bit too soon for him. [His Allen was pregnant after all and she knows it sort of makes him uncomfortable/upset.]

[Lavi currently isn't putting the puzzle pieces together. Mattias was a a friend, one who will soon be giving birth to a set of beautiful baby boys. Why wouldn't Allen want to come see them?]

[Of course, Lavi is also convinced that Sleeper and his child went home safe and sound. And that's not something that Allen is convinced of himself]

[A long time is what Lavi wanted to say. But he also knew that when things hit Allen, they hit Allen long and lingered for more than they should. Probably because he had no experience to have friends and loves and therefore no experience losing them]

... I think you should go see him if you get a chance. I'll bring along a good babysitter. Promise.
