*There's a cluttered workroom with the door ajar and sounds coming out of it that can only mean one thing: Komui is hard at work building something terrifyingly horrible wonderfully helpful

[There is something so distantly familiar about those sounds, that door left ajar. She hasn't seen anything like this in so long, it's almost too much to hope...
But she approaches the door anyway, feeling almost as if she's in a dream, pushes it open, and ducks inside.
She feels a cold weight drop in her stomach the instant she does, because for the first time in seven months, she's seeing-] B-Brother?
[If he does chance a peek, he'll find that her thoughts are currently almost entirely centred on him. How much she's missed him, how happy she is to see him, how awful it is that he's trapped here and what does he know about Leverrier that he won't tell her? To be honest, she's very upfront with most of her thoughts when it comes to Komuis; she doesn't really hide them. She says what she's thinking, if it's her brother she's talking to.
She reaches up and places her own hand over his, concern flickering in her eyes. He looks so tired.] I'll do better now. But are you all right?
*He gives in and reads her mind, and he does manage to see most of that. Part of him is giddily happy at it; what Komui doesn't want to be the main thing on Lenalee's mind? But part of him feels even more undeserving of how much she cares about him.
Oh, he's not going to tell her the half of what's gone on in the past six months. She'll have to either be a mind-reader or hear it from someone who knows him. Suffice it to say it hasn't been pretty. She might notice a certain nervousness about him, though; one she's probably grown very used to detecting when he's not telling her the whole truth.*
[To her own surprise, she hesitates to push the topic, seeing him step back like that. It's been so long and she doesn't want to spoil things with being a mother hen. But still...]
Why didn't you? [He only ever has difficulty sleeping when something's gone sour.] What's wrong?
I...I just...well... *He sighs, clearly stressed. Why is it always so hard to lie to her? He can lie through his teeth to most everyone else (though even they don't always believe him). He swallows and avoids her gaze.*
My medicine just makes it kind of hard to sleep sometimes.
[It's the shame that startles her more than his nervousness. She feels a cold gnaw start in her stomach.] No, it is something I need to worry about. Why are you on medication? What for?
[She knows she sounds pushy, but doesn't particularly care at the moment.]
*He puts a hand to the back of his neck, staring at the floor and just feeling really terrible. He's supposed to comfort her, and now he's just made her worried.*
It's really not that important, Lenalee...I'm going to be fine.

Yeah...but it's not a big deal. Nothing you need to be worrying about.
