[Allen will hear the sound of crisp leaves being crushed underfoot, followed by Lenalee quietly sitting down next to him. She doesn't say anything, and just picks a few leaves from where they've caught on his cloak. Removing them from his hair seems too forward of her.]
[Even still he doesn't lift his head or look at her, he knows it's Lenalee. The safe one. The one that's scared of him. Allen glances at her briefly when she picks the leaves out, then back at the fire.]
[Safer than usual, since she's taken to leaving her anklets in her room. She doesn't meet his gaze when he glances at her, and slowly moves her hands to her lap once she's done with the leaves. For a minute or so, she stares at the fire, too, then says quietly:] You're missing someone.
[It's that look. She's seen it too often on people's faces back home.]
[Allen laughs softly, a bit bitterly.] Is it that obvious? [He wipes at his face with his free hand, checking in a way for any tears but he hadn't smelled the salt.]
