Kanda has managed to transform one of the kitchens into a small cafe-- a quiet, quaint thing with soft green walls, deep red trim, and plants just about everywhere (courtesy of one of the Allens). [he can't really order anything, but he wanted to see how it had come out after helping with it - so he kind of sidles in, hanging back near the doorway and looking around. And is clearly awed at how good it looks.]

[the decorations and everything have no bearing on him, but as soon as he walks in he can tell from the atmosphere that it's a really lovely little place. And the smells... heavenly. He makes his way very carefully up to the counter, managing not to trip on anything on the way, and finds himself an empty stool]

It smells amazing in here, Kanda. [he can hear the sounds of cooking and feel the heat from the stove, so he knows Kanda is back there]
