[kicked back on one of the library couches and reading is an Alma. what's he reading? ... weeeell you should ask besomeothername about that :D but he looks content enough and there's a whole giant stack of books next to him- books about things like science, math, grammar, and so forth.

You supposed to be reading things like that, Alma?

[jumps a bit and looks up.] Oh! Hi, Lavi! [and laughs a little.] Um, no, it's not what Cross assigned me- but I'm old enough to read it.

Well then, if you're not doing you're assignments that Cross gave you. You can take some of the lessons I was charged with giving you. [Hello, social rules.]

... that's no fun, Lavi! I finished those assignments. [pouting forever.] I still want to learn about these things.

And you can, after we catch you up to speed with everyone else. Promise I won't work you too hard today, alright?

... well, if you promise that, then okay. [smiling and putting the book aside after carefully marking his place.] Um, so what should we work on?

[Lavi vaults over the couch and sits beside Alma.] I figured we'd do etiquette to start with, sound good?

[hey that's a big word. blink.] ... like how to behave?

Exactly, you're still thinking on how to act as a kid. And those novels you've been reading actually might help in this instance, when the two main people aren't flirting and trying to jump the other's bones.

Okay. I can do that. [sitting up straighter and nodding.] Where should we start?

[arebornstar]

[And off Lavi goes on teaching Alma on how to behave in public, what's accepted, what's better kept for private times when the relationship is at that stage. This is because mun is a lazy git.]

[so afterwards because I am also lazy, Alma is nodding slowly.]

... I think I understand. Then, not everything in the book is accurate, but there are still some things I can do.
